Police Searching For East Austin Robbery Suspects

Police say they need the public's help in finding two men they say robbed an East Austin convenience store last month.

It happened last year on Dec. 16 at the MLK Food Mart located at 2915 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., just west of Airport Boulevard.

Investigators say the two men entered the store and displayed a weapon, demanding money. They fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect is described as:

• Black male
• 5'7" in height
• Mid to late 20's
• Around 200 lbs

He was last seen wearing a green baseball hat with white lettering, and a black doo rag under the hat, a green long sleeved t-shirt, black baggy pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as:

• Black male
• Mid to late 20's
• Around 220 lbs

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black t-shirt, black baggy pants and black shoes.  He displayed a black full size semiautomatic handgun.
