2 Lake Travis ISD Campuses Placed On Lock Down


All Lake Travis Independent School District campuses were placed on lock down Wednesday afternoon.

All schools with the district were placed on lock down at 2 p.m. when a parent reported to have seen suspicious activity at the EDC campus. The lock downs were lifted at 2:30 p.m. for all the schools except Lake Travis Elementary and the EDC campus as police searched around those buildings.

School officials said they do not believe there was an immediate threat and the lock downs were lifted at those schools by 4:30 p.m.
