Leander Stabbing Leaves 1 Dead
A Leander man died Wednesday after being stabbed by his cousin.
At 9:45 a.m. the Travis County Sheriff's Office received a call about a domestic assault on Big Sandy Drive, off Nameless Road in far west Leander.
That's where deputies found James Prestage, 41, stabbed. His cousin, 47-year-old Reggie Horton (pictured), was taken into custody. The two men lived at the house.
A STARFlight helicopter transported Prestage to a hospital, where he died shortly before noon.
Detectives say they are still collecting evidence and talking to witnesses to determine what happened and what charges will be filed.
