Teen Killed In Far South Austin Car Crash


A 19-teen-year-old was killed early Thursday morning after a car crash in far South Austin.

Austin Police and EMS were called out to a rollover accident just after 4 a.m. in the 13200 block of S I-35 northbound, or just north of the SH 45 toll road exit.

Investigators say a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling northbound when it swerved suddenly to the right and left the roadway, rolling several times.

The female driver was transported to an area hospital. The male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Both were wearing seatbelts, according to police.
