West Austin Road Closed After Dump Truck Falls Over Steep Hill
A dump truck went over the edge of a steep hill in West Austin Tuesday afternoon, shutting a road down as crews cleaned up spilled hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel.
It happened on Strafford Drive between MoPac and Red Bud Trail.
The Austin Fire Department says the truck went over a 30 foot steep hill. There were no reported injuries.
Strafford Drive was closed as crews worked to keep the spilled liquids from going into the nearby watershed.
