Transportation Group Wants Input On Area Traffic Issues

Area transportation planners say a high-capacity transit system is one of the best solutions to our traffic problems.

Now they want to hear your thoughts about it. A group working on the issue is holding open house meetings.

Project Connect is aimed at implementing high-capacity transit to the long range regional transportation plan. This includes express lanes on highways, existing and new rail service and rapid transit. The regional vision would connect those components with the local bus network to provide improvements to the area’s mobility.
