Police Say Pistorius & Girlfriend Shared Bed The Night Of Shooting


New details are emerging regarding how police believe Oscar Pistorius' girlfriend died.
     
His agent has announced that Pistorius will not run any races while his legal battle unfolds.

The 26-year-old, Olympian - is now charged with murdering his girlfriend.
      
CBS News has learned that police believe Steenkamp slept in the same bed as Pistorius.
      
She was in her nightgown, when she was first shot in the bedroom. 
      
She then ran to the bathroom, and locked herself inside. She was then shot in the head, hand and arm.
      
Police took a 9-mm gun from the home, and reportedly found a bloody bat. 
     
 It's unclear if the bat was used as a weapon.
      
The runner's family visited him at a Pretoria police station over the weekend, and say they are standing by him.

“We have had overwhelming support from Oscar from a lot of fans on a global scale, really on a global scale,” said Pistorius’ agent Peet Van Zyl.
       
Locals prayed for Pistorius and Steenkamp at church services Sunday.
       
Steenkamp's funeral will be Tuesday, February 19. It is also the same day Pistorius is scheduled to be back in court.
