Murdered Ex-Navy SEAL To Be Buried In Austin


Slain ex-Navy SEAL Chris Kyle will be buried at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin Tuesday afternoon.

Iraq War veteran Eddie Ray Routh, 25, has been charged in the Feb. 2 killings of Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield at a North Texas gun range.

Kyle completed four tours of duty in Iraq and wrote the best-selling book "American Sniper."

A memorial service took place for Kyle at Cowboys Stadium on Monday. About 7,000 people attended.

On Tuesday, there will be a procession from Midlothian to Austin where he will be buried in the Texas State Cemetery. It will be a private service.

The procession will travel down I-35, take the Sixth Street exit, travel east on Seventh Street and then turn north on Navasota Street to the Texas State Cemetery. Expect delays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
