Woman Killed In Southeast Austin Overnight Hit And Run
UPDATE March 11, 9 a.m.: The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Sara Kaitlin Palmer.
Austin police are investigating a deadly hit and run at a Southeast Austin apartment complex.
They believe a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle, another man was sent to University Medical Center Brackenridge with unknown injuries just after 2 am Friday at the Ion at East End apartments.
They say the driver took off but they don't have a vehicle description. They believe the victims were on foot in the parking lot. Officers began clearing the scene just before 6 a.m.
