Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Southeast Austin
A pedestrian was seriously injured in Southeast Austin Wednesday night after being struck by a pickup truck.
According to Austin police it happened in the 1600 block of Montopolis Drive, just north of the Riverside Driver intersection.
Police say a 23-year-old woman was hit when she ran in front of the pickup truck as she was attempting to cross the street.
The driver was not cited.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge in serious condition.
