Unattended Toaster Leads To UT Law School Evacuation
The University of Texas Law School was briefly evacuated Thursday afternoon.
An Austin Fire Department spokesperson says it happened at around 12:30 p.m. when food left in a toaster caused a fire alarm to go off.
Students followed procedure and left the building. There was no fire.
The building is cleared for re-entry less than an hour later.
