Man Struck By Train In San Marcos
San Marcos police say an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a train Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at around 1:40 p.m. in the area of the 600 block of E. Hopkins Street
Witnesses at the scene told police the man stepped in front of the train and was struck. He was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge by San Marcos/Hays County EMS -- his current condition is unknown.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
